About Me

I'm Hollie, an International Fashion Branding student studying at Glasgow Caledonian University. I'm currently in my last semester of my third and final year of uni. It's starting to dawn on me now that I will have to start acting like a real grown up soon. I've worked for the same company since I was 16 and having to break out on my own and do something completely new is terrifying.

I'm originally from a small town called Shotts. Shotts is the kind of town that no one leaves and it's main attractions are it's high security prison and its bigger than average Co-op (woo!). I know...why would you leave?! However I escaped (not from prison, promise) and now live in Glasgow.

The name of my blog "The Height of..." is basically a nod to the fact that I am ridiculously tall for a girl. To be exact I am 5ft 11 and three quarters (182cm) and my inside leg is 35 inches (89cm). As much as I love being tall (most of the time) I have had my fair share of tantrums in shops because the trousers I want look more like crops or that the heels are just too high for me to be able to walk through doors without gaining a concussion. 

I spend a lot of time reading blogs and watching YouTube videos and they often inspire me to try new products and trends. So I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and hopefully I will inspire someone else. My blog will consist mainly of beauty, fashion and the odd height specific post...as well as my awful chat.
